In order to better manage and adapt to the risks and potential opportunities brought about by global environmental changes to its business development, CIIC is actively concerned about the green economy, implements sustainable development strategies, identifies the impacts on climate and the environment caused by its own operations, and establishes a climate change management system at four levels, namely, governance structure, formulation of strategies, risk management, and performance and objectives, to identify the risks and opportunities associated with environmental changes, and to incorporate the mitigation of environmental changes and adaptation into its day-to-day management.
Safeguarding the use of renewable or clean energy in all our operations wherever possible is a key step in reducing our climate and environmental impact on greenhouse gas emissions and reducing our overall carbon footprint.
